WEST BROMWICH BUILDING SOCIETY, BIRMINGHAM - Fit out of new Branch Office
Marsh Associates have been appointed by West Bromwich Building Society to act as architect and lead consultant for the conversion of an existing retail unit in New Street, Birmingham into a new branch office. Contract value £300,000. Marsh Associates successfully negotiated the necessary planning approvals with Birmingham City Council. Construction work is due to commence in May 2016.

FRANCIS CRICK INSTITUTE, LONDON - Completion of fit out of Magnetic Resonance Imaging, Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Imaging and Electron Microscope Suites
Marsh Associates have successfully completed the fit out works of the MRI Suite, NMR Suite and Electron Microscope Suite at the Francis Crick Institute in London. The contract value was £2.5million and was completed on time and on budget. The Francis Crick Institute is a major construction project of overall contract value £650 million. When the building is completed it will be the largest bio-medical research establishment in the world. Marsh Associates were appointed by EMI shielding specialists ETS Lindgren Limited to act as Project Managers, Architects and Structural Engineers on the project.

GP UNIT WHITCHURCH - Alterations to form new GP Unit
Marsh Associates Healthcare have been appointed by Shropshire Community Health NHS Trust to act as architect lead consultant for the conversion of the existing Outpatients Dept. and Beech Ward at Whitchurch Community Hospital into a GP Unit catering for 10,000 patients. Contract value £2.3million. Construction work is due to commence Mid 2016.

MALT HOUSE - Alterations and refurbishment of existing listed building to form new holiday letting apartments.

Conversion of the existing Malt House Building in Strefford, Shropshire into three holiday letting apartments has now been successfully completed. Marsh Associates acted as architects for the owners Pat & Gary Christianson and successfully negotiated a planning and listed building consent for the proposed alterations.

EMERSON, LEICESTER - New building for research & manufacturing
Marsh Associates have successfully completed the design and construction of a new stand alone research & manufacturing building for Emerson Process Management in Leicester. Contract value £1 million. Completed on time and on budget. Marsh associates acted as architects for the landlord AXA REIM Friends Life PLC.

QUINTON HOUSE - 30 Bedroom Care Home.
Construction of of the final phase consisting of 16 bedrooms has now been completed. Marsh Associates Healthcare assisted with the obtaining of CQC registration to enable the finished building to be occupied.

Marsh Associates have successfully negotiated a planning approval from Wychavon District Council, for the conversion of historic grade 2 listed barns to form 5 luxury dwellings at Huddington Hill Farm near Worcester.

DUNSLEY HALL FARM - Conversion of Piggery to form 5 Dwellings
After prolonged negotiations Marsh Associates have successfully obtained a planning approval from South Staffordshire District Council, for the conversion of historic Piggery building to form 5 luxury dwellings at Dunsley Hall Farm near Kinver.

HANLEY BREAST SCREENING CLINIC - £150,000 Refurbishment.
Hanley Breast Screening Clinic has just reopened following a £150,000 refurbishment to facilitate new mammography equipment being installed. MAH designed and project managed the scheme for the North Staffordshire NHS Estates Agency. The works involved considerable upgrading of a 1970’s converted bungalow.

HANLEY HEALTH CENTRE - £3/4 Million Refurbishment.
The refurbishment of the 1974 Hanley Health Centre for Stoke on Trent PCT, a seven phased £750,000 six month scheme, has just been completed with no loss of services throughout the programme. Marsh Associates Healthcare designed and project managed the scheme, with some out-of-hours attendance and were involved right from the start in understanding the internal workings of the Health Centre in order to design a programme solution which would maintain services for the duration.

Marsh Associates Healthcare have successfully negotiated a planning approval from Stratford On Avon District Council, for a large 3 storey, 30 bed state of the art care home within the grounds of Quinton House Nursing Home, Lower Quinton.

DUNSLEY HALL HOTEL - £6.5 Million Hotel Extension to Grade II Listed Building in Green Belt.
Marsh Associates Healthcare have unlocked hidden value and realized full potential by skillfully negotiating a planning approval and listed building consent from South Staffordshire District Council for large 24 bedroom and function room extension including conversion of outbuildings into a Spa Complex at Dunsley Hall Hotel, Kinver, a Grade II Listed Building in Green Belt.

Marsh Associates have been appointed by SAERI (South Atlantic Environmental Research Institute) to act as architect lead consultant for the design of the new Discovery 100 Research Facility in Grytviken, South Georgia. Grytviken is a disused whaling station on the remote island of South Georgia which is close to the Falkland Islands. The proposals are to convert existing whale oil tanks into Laboratories, Workshops, Residential Accomodation and a Resource/Visitors Centre. The design is being carried out in close liaison with the renowned building archaeologist Edmund Simons who is Heritage Director for the South Georgia Heritage Trust, one of the main funders for the project. The design will have to cater for the challenging and sensitive environment and the requirement for Zero Emission Buildings. The anticipated construction cost is £21 million.
